Selected Studies in Transportation Law: Volume 4, Tort Liability of Highway Agencies (CD-ROM)

Volume 4 of the SSTL is a revision of 13 articles previously compiled and published as the "Torts' volume of "Selected Studies in Highway Law." NCHRP Project Committee SP 20-6 decided to reorganize, update, and supplement these articles. The reorganization of material provides a format that is easily searchable and will facilitate future updates. The text covers the following six principal subjects: (1) Basic theories of tort liability of public transportation agencies, (2) Activities that give rise to transportation tort liability, (3) Immunities and defenses, (4) Trial preparation, (5) Procedural consideration, (6) Shifting or sharing tort liability. This material should provide helpful information to attorneys, risk managers, financial officer, and transportation tort law in general.
