Selected Studies in Transportation Law: Volume 3, Environmental Law and Transportation (CD-ROM)

Volume 3 of the SSTL is a revision of legal research digests previously compiled and published in Selected Studies in Highway Law. NCHRP Project Committee SP 20-6 decided to reorganize, update, and supplement these articles. The reorganization of material provides a format that is easily searchable and will facilitate future updates. The test covers the following six principal areas: (1) Environmental law and transportation planning, (2) Project environmental analysis and requirements (NEPA and 4(F)), (3) Other environmental laws applicable to transportation projects, (4) Acquisition of sites, (5) Environmental laws applicable to construction and project operations, (6) Litigation issues. This material should be helpful to any person who has an interest in environmental legal requirements applicable to transportation project development, construction, or operations. It was developed specifically to provide guidance to transportation and environmental specialists, and attorneys who guide transportation development, construction, or operational projects through the environmental compliance phase.
